Poon Hill trekking in Nepal
Poon Hill Ghorepani trek is
one the best and short destinations of Nepal trekking of Annapurna Himalayan
region. Entire trek covers Pokhara- a magnificent, dreamy city of the
travelers. The trail goes along the collaged valleys, forests, and waterfalls
to get Poon Hill 3210m.
During the trek you will visit Ghandruk Village,
a historically significant village of Nepal, which is the inhabitant of Gurkha
warriors; they participated during the Second World War. Once when you reached
at top of Poon Hill, the
rewarding views of Himalaya including above 8000m: Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt.
Annapurna I and Mt. Manasulu and other lower peaks Machhapuchhre, Nilgriri, Dhampus peak etc.
which always mesmerized the travelers.
Day 01 Arrival at the
Tribuwan International Airport in Kathmandu (1,345m)
Day 02 Drive to Pokhara
by a tourist bus. 7 hrs.
Day 03 Drive to Nayapul
(1,010m) - 1.5 hrs Trek to Tikhedunga (1,570m) - 3 hrs
Day 04 Trek to Ghorepani
(2,840m) - 5 hrs
Day 05 Hike up to Poon
Hill (3,210m); and onto Tadapani (2,610m) - 6 hrs
In and around Tadapani
Day 06 Trek to Ghandruk
(1,940m) - 4 hrs
In and around Ghandruk
Day 07 Trek to Nayapul
(1,010m)4hrs and 1.30hrs drive to Pokhara
Day 08 Drive back to
Kathmandu (1,345m) and farewell dinner
Day 09 Transfer to the
international airport for your final departure
